This is a lesson plan for upper elementary and middle schools students to create a "Pong" game using Scratch. This lesson could be taught in 2 or 3 lessons depending on age. Prior to teaching, a basic familiarity with Scratch is encouraged but not required. This lesson could be used to incorporate STEM in a technology/computer lab or during Hour of Code. Please note, this lesson plan is not designed for the Scratch, Jr app. This lesson plan has been updated for Scratch 3.
