Product Description
This STEM resource is the perfect solution for students and teachers to plan, track, revise and reflect on the various coding projects they complete. Students develop a plan for their projects in the portfolio before writing any code.

*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************

In this coding portfolio, there is a place for students to record ideas, make a plan, peer edit, revise and self-reflect on their projects. With a plan in place, students know exactly what they would like to accomplish and what steps they need to take while working on their project. This helps students make the best use of computer time since most of their 'thinking' is already done in the portfolio.

There is also a handy vocabulary reference list at the back of the portfolio for those students who need some guidance choosing which blocks to use in their script.

This resource is a great addition to STEM learning or a maker space program!

What's Included:

*The project ideas page is for students to record a variety of topics they are interested in pursuing for coding projects throughout the year. This can act as a quick reference guide when students are ready to begin a new project and are looking for an idea to get started.

*The project planning pages can be reproduced however many times students complete a coding project. They can plan out the main steps of the project here, so that when they are ready to code their script, they have a clear idea of what they intend to produce and where to begin.

*The peer reflection and revisions page should be reproduced for every project the student completes or as you see fit.

*The self reflection sheet should be completed at the end of each term or year for students to look back on their growth over the term.

*The vocabulary reference should appear at the back of the student portfolio so that students can quickly refer to it during the planning stage of their project.
