Between TVs, computers, iPads and smart phones, ever have the feeling the total daily screen time for kids is adding up to too much? To help reign that in and ensure there's just as much beneficial time spent away from the screen,

These charts:

* Helps you track and thus limit the amount of screen time over a given week.

* Gives children the privilege and responsibility for deciding when to use screen time allowance.

* Teaches the idea and value of delayed gratification.

And because every parent has a different philosophy and approach to screen time, this chart is completely customizable, so you can adjust it to what works best for your family.

What's Included:

* Screen Time Board

* 5 Punch Cards (for older children)

* 9 Screen Time Tokens

* Directions

There's one screen time token for every day of the week. Decide how much time each token is worth in screen time (for example, 25 minutes per day). If a child decides not to use his/her token on a given day, they may be permitted to use it on another day that week for increased screen time on that day. However, tokens from future days can not be used ahead of time (or at least in our home).

The red token with the blue star may be used at any time during the week. If it is not used by the end of the week, the child can trade it in for a special reward (for example, a movie or go and buy a book at the bookstore…). This teaches the concept of delayed gratification.

We also added a ? token that you can use however you wish. Also, If you do not wish to laminate and velcro to a chart you can simply mark off with a marker as the screen time is used on the chart with the tokens already placed or a punch card. If you have more than one child using these charts, write your child's name with permanent marker on his/her screen time chart.

For older children this simple punch card works well, and it adds a little fun to something that may seem like all out restriction to them! We have 5 different versions included in this product.
