Each year my class performs a play on stage complete with curtains, sound, and lighting. When I run into my former students, even years later, they always say "Remember when we did the play?" I adapted this script from the humorous mystery book series "Clue" by A. E. Parker. It uses the familiar characters from the Parker Bros. board game. It has lots of humor and even a little slapstick. Costumes and scary sound effects add to the fun.
This script can also be used for a Reader's Theater if you are not interested in using it as a full production. It includes a 16 page script, as well as a list of characters and a few director's notes. The number of roles can be adjusted by switching out actors in each of the three scenes, so that you would have three narrators, three Miss Scarlets, etc..
