The Scuba Sort and Graph can be used in small group math centers to work on sorting (by one attribute) and then graphing.
The number of sea creatures to be sorted can be differentiated by the teacher for student. Print numerous pages of sea creatures, cut apart, and laminate. Then place a different number of each in a baggie. Each student must first sort their sea creatures and then place them on the graph.
Results could be recorded in a math journal, or laminate the graph and have students color in each square with a dry erase marker.
