Have your students learn about what causes the seasons with this nonfiction reading text practice! Kids answer questions about the text and practice test-taking skills like highlighting or underlining information that answers the questions. Also included are notes on the seasons and an answer key. I recommend filling in the blanks on the notes together as a class with a model projected or written on the board, since there is no word bank included. Being teacher-led means that you can pause at each sentence and discuss why the answers are the most logical to fill in the blanks. The notes can easily be cut and glued into interactive notebooks and students can draw a picture diagram to show what happens as the Earth revolves around the sun.
