Product Description
Through an interactive simulation, students investigate the occurrence of seasons. In this model, users can compare daylight duration and temperature data for pre-selected cities located at different latitudes. In addition, users can choose between two angles of tilt. Students then act as meteorologists, synthesizing this information to create an engaging newscast explaining what causes the seasons. This lesson plan is aligned with MS-ES1-1. Purchase includes teacher summary sheet, link to SEPUP simulation, NGSS + career connections, 5E lesson plan, as well as free access to all corresponding student resources for this career including videos, simulations, and a career information sheet.
