This is a classic seating arrangement chart that allows to keep track of daily home work (2nd empty row in a block) and class participation (3rd empty row in a block) for each student (name in the 1st empty row).
When using this log, I usually put marks only in the cells of students who lost points on either one of the categories. This means, that all the blank spots are full credits! I hope you'll have many of those. One class sheet represents a week of school and allows to have a good overview of students' performance that could be easily used for parent communication. The log is also a class management tool, that allows for a clear student communication.
