Seating Chart Templates
-This is a document that contains three customizable seating charts to assist with classroom management. One seating chart is a "lab" setup with large tables, one seating chart features smaller tables, and one chart features individual student desks.
I have found that the seating arrangement in a classroom has a significant influence on all aspects of my teaching. The document is configured to allow easy modification of the charts. In Microsoft Word, you can easily move, delete, and add desks:
☞ Click on the border of a desk, hold down the mouse button, and drag to the desired location.
☞ Click within a box to add a student name (you may have to right click on the box and then select "add text" to do so)
☞ Click on the corner of a box to drag and re-size.
☞ Right-click on the border and copy and paste to duplicate desks/tables.
☞ Click on the header of the document to type in your class period.
I have found this format to be exceedingly helpful. I can save, share with parents, administrators, and substitute teachers if needed. With new expectations tied to Common Core Standards, it is important to be organized with good classroom management. These charts will help with both!
