My kids like the boxes and when I split them up for the week they like to gradually work on it. I like that there is a little bit of everything for everyone in here.
This is a great for morning work and going over grammar/phonics. Just make sure your students are familiar with the concepts before you hand these out.
Description
Common Core Weekly Word Work is the updated version of my Weekly Word Wizard sets. This unit consists of 36 weeks of language arts printables designed to introduce, practice and review essential skills. Every one of the 21 weekly questions are directly aligned to Common Core State Standards for second grade. Each week is presented in the exact same format providing scaffolded repetition to ensure that your students master the skills and retain what they’ve learned over the course of a year.
Although similar in design to my Weekly Word Wizards , which were written before the implementation of CCSS, the content is entirely different.
