Common Core Writing Curriculum. How would you love to NEVER plan a day of writing again?! This bundle includes lesson plans for every day of the school year (December is a little different because I know most people already have holiday themes/plans) from September to May. The lessons tell you what books to use, what to say, etc. It also includes worksheets and activities for the students. This curriculum completely aligns to the Common Core, and if you use all of the months, you will have met EVERY Common Core Writing Standard at least once. I know a lot of states have dropped out of the Common Core, so here are the skills that will be taught and assessed in case you want to see if it meets your state's standards:
September: informative paragraph, opinion paragraph, persuasive paragraph, sequence of events
October: informative paragraph, shared research paragraph, descriptive writing
November: informative paragraph, journal entry, narrative
December: X-mas Around the World Writing
January: peer editing, revision, research to answer a question, final drafting
February: opinion paragraph, friendly letter, biography, 5 paragraph
March: telling a story in sequence, alternate ending, how-to, beginning, middle, end
April: narrative about spring, peer edit, self edit, informational paragraph about Earth Day
May: Mother's Day - What's the Best Part of My Mom? (paragraph), informative paragraph on second grade for first graders to read, shared research on vacation, What's the Best Part of My Dad? (paragraph)

Let me know if you have any questions!!!! Writing can be hard to teach and this tells you exactly what to teach every day! Thank you so much!! I hope you enjoy it and I hope it makes your job a little easier!!!
Thank you!
