### Description

This data and graphing packet is jammed full of worksheets to help equip your students with all the strategies they need to master data and graphing in second grade. It will teach them a variety of skills related to tally marks, categorizing data, bar graphs, picture graphs, line plots and more! The packet also includes differentiation options. A total of 40+ worksheets are included which are perfect for whole-class activities, math stations, fast finisher activities, homework and review.

The worksheets include:

♥ Tally Marks (to 30) – Count the tally marks and paste the matching number.

♥ Counting Tally Marks (to 50) – Count the tally marks and write the matching number.

♥ Data Categories – Choose 4 categories to sort the words into.

♥ Categorize and Graph – Choose 3 categories to sort the words into and then create a bar graph using your categories.

♥ Pencil Tally Chart – Read the tally chart and answer the questions.

♥ Ice Cream Shop – Create a tally chart using the data from the bar graph and then answer the questions. (2 options)

♥ Car Tally and Graph – Create a bar graph using the data from the tally chart and then answer the questions.

♥ Zoo Animal Bar Graph – Read the bar graph, write the totals and answer the questions. (2 options)

♥ The Weather Bar Graph – Answer the questions about the bar graph.

♥ Spelling Test Bar Graph – Read the bar graph and answer the questions. (2 options)

♥ Coffee Shop True or False – Color the true statements blue. Color the false statements green.

♥ Label a Graph – Add a heading to the graph and label all the axises.

♥ Garden Animals Graph – Count the garden animals, create a tally chart and bar graph.

♥ The Town Graph – Count the items in the town. Create a bar graph and answer the questions.

♥ Clothes Shop – Use the tally chart to create a bar graph. Then, answer the questions.

♥ Roll a Dice Data Collection – Roll a dice and color a box on the graph to show which number you rolled. Keep going until one number reaches 10 rolls.

♥ Restaurant Bar Graph – Use the restaurant orders to create a bar graph and answer the questions. (2 options)

♥ Our Pets Data Collection – Survey 20 people to find out what pet they own. Record their answers in the tally chart, create a graph using the data and then interpret the graph.

♥ Favorite Food Collect and Graph – Choose 4 different foods and survey people on which is their favorite. Use the data in a bar graph and answer the questions.

♥ Ben’s Toy Chest Picture Graph – Write the totals and answer the questions about the picture graph.

♥ Popcorn Sold Picture Graph – Answer the questions about the picture graph. (3 options)

♥ Fishing Time Picture Graph – Tally the totals and interpret the graph.

♥ T-Shirts True or False - Color the true statements blue. Color the false statements green.

♥ Betty’s Bakery Graph – Paste the pictures to create a picture graph.

♥ Favorite Season Data Collection – Collect data about people’s favorite season and then create a picture graph using your data.

♥ Fruit Line Plot – Read the line plot and answer the questions (2 options).

♥ Ribbon Length Line Plot – Read the line plot and answer the questions. (Option for both inches and cm)

♥ School Trip True or False - Color the true statements blue. Color the false statements green.

♥ Tree Height Line Plot – Use the data to create a line plot and then answer the questions. (Option for both feet and meters)

♥ Cubes Line Plot – Count the cube stacks and create a line plot.

♥ Bugs Line Plot – Use the length of the bugs to create a line plot.

♥ Pencil Length Data Collection – Measure the pencil to the nearest inch (or cm) and then create a line plot.

♥ Favorite Sea Animal Data Collection – Collect data on people’s favorite sea animal, create a line plot and answer the questions.

♥ Data Collection Project – Collect and graph data about what students want to do on their next school break.
