We can change minds with words! In this unit, students will learn how to write essays to change their audience’s mind. They will learn to state the purpose or opinion, give smart reasons and offer solutions and a conclusion.
This is the fourth unit in a series of monthly units. This unit is aligned to the National Common Core Standards and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. Choose from 23 lessons for your class. Each lesson is paired with a premade student friendly chart. The charts are differentiated for English-language learners, at-risk students and students with special needs.
