Product Description
This writing bundle for secondary students covers brainstorming a new topic, outlining the topic, and writing an introduction and conclusion. This covers the basics for writing a paper with secondary students. These writing activities will provide a solid foundation for student writing.

Included in this writing bundle for secondary students:
✎ Detailed lesson plans - see the preview. Includes common pitfalls for students, areas for differentiation, and complete directions for the lesson.
✎ Questions to help with outlining, writing an introduction, and writing a conclusion. (See thumbnails for pictures). Use these guidelines as part of a bulletin board or for individual handouts.
✎ EDITABLE document with sample brainstorming, outline, and research sources. Includes options for group work - will also work as an individual assignment.
✎ A writing process sheet to guide students.

For ease of using these writing materials, I have included a sample brainstorming session, outline, and research materials. The sample is "healthy foods." I often use a simple concept so all students can participate. You may use whatever sample you prefer. Of course, after completing the sample with students, I then use all of the material again for the actual writing assignment.

I use this information all semester because students need to focus on different writing areas and because students must brainstorm, organize, and write for each paper.
