This is a great activity to introduce your students to physical vs. character traits... by focusing on describing who they know best- themselves! Students will brainstorm and list their physical traits, and then provide their character traits and evidence to support each trait.
Next, they will illustrate a "selfie" of themselves, or you can have them take a selfie and print them. The selfies are then affixed behind their description papers. I number each Secret Selfie paper and allow students to go around the room and infer which description fits their classmates. They write that classmates name next to the number that coincides with the selfie paper. This turns into such a fun guessing game!
