This lesson plan combines art with social studies by taking a look at 9 different Renaissance paintings including Rembrandt, Raphael, Titian and Leonardo da Vinci. By analyzing these images, students look for humanist and secular concepts.
The lesson includes warm up "Do Now," a mini-lecture with a PowerPoint, a "gallery" walk-through, and a worksheet for student assessment.
Please note that the gallery is meant to be printed and a color printer is highly recommended.
