This is a fun and engaging activity that has students figuring out how many police officers to secure the perimeter and cover the area of different bank floor plans. Each bank also has different amounts of money in the vault that they need to secure. The students read a page of the procedure manual and then practice using different floor plans. They record the answers in a police log book. My students love this math center! There are mini-police officers if they want to actually place them around the bank floor plans. Some of my students use them, some don't.
All measurements are in inches and feet.
