This science project would be a great supplement to a study of plants and also allows students to put math concepts into practice. Students will gather at least 5 different types of fruit seeds to display on a poster board. They will measure the size of each seed and then record these in a chart and bar graph. The students will then determine the maximum and minimum seed lengths.
**Note that there is a typo on the bar graph page due to Microsoft Word auto-correct. The side axis of the bar graph should read "Length of Seed (in)." In the document it also says "Size of S" next to the label. I have tried to delete that, but it still shows up on the TPT version. To use this page of the packet, simply use white-out on the extra axis label, and then your printing should work out fine. I apologize for the error.
