Real Ms Frizzle

What is a Seek-and-Solve activity? It’s a cross between an academic scavenger hunt and Hide-and-Seek. The objective is to have students review concepts, but with the freedom of getting out of their seats.
Don't be intimidated if you've never heard of this type of review game...all instructions are included and easy to understand. Download the PREVIEW and you'll understand quickly!
Student background knowledge needed:
⭐The names and examples of all six simple machines—lever, screw, wheel and axle, pulley, inclined plane, and wedge
⭐The definitions for the following words: work, force, power, input force, output force, machine, mechanical advantage, inclined plane, lever, screw, wheel and axle, pulley, wedge, and compound machine
Calculations for ideal mechanical advantage for inclined plane, wheel and axle, and lever

If your students have NOT learned all of this information, consider letting them use their textbooks or other resources to complete the activity.
My own students ❤️LOVE❤️ this activity. I've used it to review before a test, as an enrichment activity for my gifted and talented class, and as a remediation activity for those students who needed more help. Your students will love this too!
