Do you use Seesaw in your classroom? Are you wanting to get started with Seesaw? This bundle of fun Challenges will have your students creating and learning in Seesaw in no time! There are 29 Challenges total included (plus more to be added!) in this bundle to keep your students learning and creating in Seesaw all year long!
These challenges are perfect for any pre-k, kindergarten, or first grade teacher or parent using Seesaw! The Challenges will give your students a chance to learn, think, and create in Seesaw while practicing basic skills.
The only reason I call them “Challenges” is because it seems to be motivating for students when we can them challenges. ;) They are basically tasks, or activities that the students can complete within Seesaw.
Each pack within the bundle includes a minimum of three Challenges. Most packs include four or more, and some even include colorful posters, graphic organizers, and qr codes to go along with the skills being practiced. Everything you need to get your students going tomorrow morning is included in every pack!
This bundle currently includes:
As more K-1 Challenge packs are created, they will be added to this bundle and you will have access to all new and previous K-1 Challenge packs. As new Challenge packs are added, the price of the bundle will increase accordingly.
Since many of our younger students are new to Seesaw, these Challenges can be a great way to introduce Seesaw to students and include parent volunteers. If you have access to volunteers who are able to work with students, a volunteer can help guide students, answer questions, and keep students on track. You can also use the Challenges:
-At a center
-With older buddies
-As an early finisher activity
-With the teacher in a small group
-In collaborative groups/partners
-As a scoot activity
Feel free to use these challenges to create Activities for your students within Seesaw too! There are examples of some of the completed challenges to make it easy for you! To learn more about Activities in Seesaw, check out THIS VIDEO!
Please note - These challenges are not simply “paperless” worksheets. My goal is to help teachers rethinking the tasks and learning we ask our students to do in our classrooms. These challenges give students a chance to create, take responsibility for their learning through choice, and critical think within Seesaw - not simply complete a worksheet on a device. This requires flexibility on the teacher’s part and trust in your students. All of these challenges allow students to make their thinking visible, which is always the goal when using devices in the classroom.

Please note- All of the videos included in the Challenge packs are videos found on YouTube. The links have been run through Viewpure, so when students scan QR codes, they are accessing the YouTube videos through the Viewpure website (not YouTube). Please make sure your students have access to ViewPure so they can watch the videos!
