This fold and flip book gives learners a plethora of practice with the Segment Addition Postulate! It is organized into three levels, and problems increase in difficulty as one progresses through the book. This format makes it very easy for you, the teacher, to pinpoint the exact place (if any) a student is having difficulty and enables you to tailor your instruction accordingly.
Descriptions of the questions that can be found in each level of the book are provided below.
Level 1 (8 questions): Learners will use the Segment Addition Postulate when no variables are involved.
Level 2 (9 questions): Using the Segment Addition Postulate, students will set up and solve one-, two-, and three- step equations to determine the lengths of various line segments.
Level 3 (12 questions): Using the Segment Addition Postulate, learners will set up and solve multi-step equations. All of these multi-step equations will require combining like terms to solve. Additionally, some of them will have variables on both sides of the equation.
