These table tents are meant for students to use to self-assess themselves during independent work time. These table tents are three sided and half-size paper. Print on card stock to last longer. Each page prints two table tents or sets of cards.
After printing, cut between the two sets of cards. Then fold on the dotted lines and tape to secure.
Students flip these table tents to indicate how they are feeling regarding their work. They are red, yellow and green for even the youngest learners to use. Students should be taught to flip the card to indicate their self-assessment.
Alternatively, you can cut these into cards and give each student a set of three cards held together with a brass fastener or a ring. Students should be instructed to flip to the card that indicates their self-assessment and leave it on their desk as they work.
Red side: “I need a little help please.” decorated with question marks and a confused, red smiley face.
Yellow side: “I think I’m okay. Can you check?” decorated with check marks and a yellow smiley face.
Green side: “I’m good to go! I got this!” decorated with exclamation points and a green happy face.
