Self-Assessment Posters

I use this self-assessment rubric with my students when I introduce a new learning target. Students move their name up or down the rubric based on how well they feel they understand the current concept or standard you are teaching. My students each have a magnet that they use to show their understanding, but you could easily use clothespins, post-it notes, etc.! :)

I typically have my students show their understanding of a concept before I teach the unit, at least once during the unit, and after the unit has come to a close. They love seeing their personal growth and reflecting on their own learning!

These posters coordinate with many of the classroom decor items in my TpT store! :)

I hope you enjoy! :)
