You'll build habits around writing down two self-care goals every morning, checking them off when you complete them, and reflecting at the end of the week.
This journal was created for any type of educator: teachers, school administrators, SLPs, guidance counselors, school social workers, work-from-home Teacher-Authors, and more! It's generic enough that any type of educator can use it, but many of the self-care activities suggested in it are specific to those of us who work in schools in various educational positions.

What is included in this journal for your use?
◾ A complete school year's worth of weekly journal pages with boxes for each day of the week, where you can write down two self-care goals per day and check them off
⇾ As of uploading this journal in April 2019, there are actually TWO versions of the journal in the zipped folder for download: a mini-journal for May through July 2019 (because I want you to be able to get started before the 2018-2019 school year ends!) and a complete 2019-2020 school year journal. In late July 2019, I will remove all documents for the May through July 2019 journal from the product listing.
◾ A List of Self-Care Ideas that includes 225 self-care activities for your reference
◾ Inspirational quotes, poems, and song lyrics about self-care and self-love
◾ Coloring pages for stress relief and relaxation of the mind
◾ Fourteen editable cover page options (seven black-and-white, seven "gold foil")
⇾ There are actually currently 28 options as of uploading this journal in April 2019: 14 for the May through July 2019 mini-journal and 14 for the 2019-2020 school year journal. Again, the options for the May through July 2019 journal will be removed in late July 2019.

What are my recommendations for use in your life?
◾ I suggest that you write down two self-care goals every morning that you'd like to accomplish each day. If you're having trouble thinking of self-care activities on your own, or if you're low on time, then reference the list of 225 self-care activities provided for quick ideas. I recommend choosing different goals week, if not every day, although it's totally fine if you want to focus on building habits by practicing them every day for a week (or longer)!
◾ When you complete your self-care goals for the day, check them off in the boxes provided.
◾ At the end of each week, there is space to write a short reflection about how you feel about your self-care habits that week.
◾ Read the inspirational quotes when you're in need of a pick-me-up and/or to remind you of why you're making time for self-care habits.
◾ Color in the coloring pages when you're feeling extra stressed and need to calm down, or color when you're just looking for something relaxing and mindless to do.
