Looking for engaging ways to have your students practice recognizing coins and their values?
These Clip Cards are the self-checking version of my Coin Values & Counting Change - Count and Clip set.
This set includes 8 color pages (48 cards), and the same 48 cards in black/white for different printing options, with pages inserted to be copied on the back to make the cards self-checking. For best use, print on cardstock so answers cannot be seen through the front of the cards.
Various levels of difficulty are included for differentiation of students' needs. Cards vary from single coin value identification through cards in which students count change less than $1.00.
Coin counting cards can be used with a small group of students at rotations, with partners, or for independent practice.
Variation - cards can be kept together on the page as printed, in which case you would place them in a write/wipe sleeve for students to circle the number; black/white copies can be used for independent student practice or to be sent home for inclement weather work, etc.
