The student will identify and compare various feelings, as well as triggers for specific feelings. The student will create a plan for self-control to apply when experiencing intense feelings. This lesson plan uses real-world objects to create schema of what self-control looks and feels like. Students will learn various strategies. This lesson is designed for small-group centers, but can be utilized in a whole-group setting.
