Who is it for?
Are your students having a tough time with self-control? Are they blurting out or making bad choices in the classroom or at home? Then this book may be just what you are looking for. It's a narrative story coming from a little boy names Jose. He explains what self-control is and even gives a story about his experience with almost losing self-control at a friend's birthday.
It is a great supplement to a character education program, and it even has a few interactive pages where the students can jot down their ideas.
There are a couple of pages in this reader where the students are supposed to think and jot down their ideas or responses to the questions. The students enjoy being able to write in their book!
This 9 page self-control mini book resource has a black and white
version as well as a color version
