This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson introduces aspects of self esteem using the acronym MAGIC! Students move through centers to explore how these dimensions of self esteem look in their lives by identifying supportive individuals with whom they have meaningful connections, identifying goals they are working toward, recognizing ways in which they are good people, identifying internal values, and recognizes reasons they are capable. Students create a MAGIC wand to remind them of these dimensions of self esteem.
