This chart will help teach an elementary schooler to be more independent in his/her work by learning to self-check how many times s/he was prompted in order to complete their work. This is for that child who you find yourself reminding to get back on task several times a day, but not for a student with very specific behavior issues other than attention. You will help the student choose appropriate rewards and teach him how to use the chart in the first few days of use. This file is an editable Word document and it includes instructions for how to individualize and use the chart as well as tips for using behavior charts effectively.
