A great strategy for time out alternative. Students are given a warning then if their behavior continues then, they are asked to go the the "think spot" and fill out the "think sheet". This reflection sheet is very effective. The students are held accountable for their behavior. They fill out the form while in a time out setting. They are required to write to their parents what they did, why and what will they do next time. This strategy for behavior management is highly effective in the secondary classroom as well.
