GUESS THE ZONE
-Inspired by the Zones of Regulation –
The purpose of this activity is to help students practice self-regulation skills inspired by the zones of regulation by familiarizing/practicing different emotions, as well as practicing what zone each emotion belongs in.
1. Copies of the worksheets
Using the clues the pictures below (facial expressions, body language, etc.), guess what zone each kid is in, then color the bubble below.
** Explain to students that there’s not necessarily a correct/incorrect answer to many of the emotions, as long as they’re able to explain why the zone was picked.
