Description

Teach students how to self monitor and manage their OWN moods and emotions with this ready-to-use self regulation station. Students use this center to monitor how they are feeling and what they need to do to get into the optimal learning zone. Everyone is different and this resource helps children to identify what they need to be in the learning zone.

After printing and laminating the reuseable student sheets, students can:

1. Identify their current state as: too fast, too slow or just right. (Every child can identify these states very differently and that is okay.)

2. Identify how to help their minds and bodies to slow down, speed up or set goals if they are just right.

3. Use brain breaks to help them do this. (These brain breaks are editable to suit your classroom and your needs).

4. Students are also able to identify their emotions and either use this station to give kindness or receive kindness. (hearts or bucket filling)

I love how versatile this is: you can set it up as an office (on a trifold board) for a small space, as a bulletin board, or as a folder for each individual student. This set works for special ed. or school counselling. Many parents love this set for home use.

Included in this pack:

*full color description and photos

*3 different title design options

*2 different colored kindness title pages

*a bucket, a heart, amended broken heart and a smiley to attach onto the pockets that you make.

*3 posters for : too fast, too slow, just right (featuring a rabbit, a turtle and a cool cat)

* individual self assessment strips for each mood or a full page one that you laminate and students use throughout the day

* 8 brain breaks for too slow and too fast

*1 page of cool cat goal for the day strips

* 1 set of cool cat bookmarks

* a self-reflection journal page

*most items in black and white so students can make a folder
