PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a chemistry, self-extracting file for level 4-9 teachers. After extraction, twelve skeletal molecular-model files are available. Each file can be opened in the freeware ChemSketch 2015 program. Both spacefill and ball-&-stick rotatable models can be viewed.

Stearyl alcohol is used to minimize evaporation in reservoirs. The other alcohols are used in esterifaction reactions to produce fruit aromas. Methanol is toxic if ingested. Ethanol dates back to fermentation processes 2000 years ago. isopropanol is used in medical swabs.
