Get your students moving with an interactive way to have a discussion about the Selling! If you're not familiar with the idea, a gallery walk is essentially where students move around the room to complete a task. This product contains 10 discussion questions on selling for a high school business course. For a long-lasting product, print these questions on colored paper and laminate. Cut and tape the questions around the room and have students work with a small group or partner to walk around the room and write answers to discussion questions with a dry erase marker (if placed on dry erase board) or have students use post-its to record answers if you're short on board space. At the conclusion of the activity, hold a discussion on student responses to discussion questions. Additionally, have a group stand at each question, pick out 2 or 3 good responses to share, and present them to the class. A teacher discussion guide is provided.
Selling concepts covered in this activity: persuasion techniques, components of the AIDA strategy, feature/benefit selling, and digital selling
This activity includes general expectations for students during the activity, 10 discussion questions, and teacher discussion guide. All files are PDFs. The discussion question file also includes two blank boxes for you to write in questions should you wish to modify or add another question to the activity.
If you've ever been to PD you know sitting still for an extended period of time can be a challenge, so movement is a great way to engage your students!
