Engage your students in this collaborative culminating activity for a unit on American colonies. Working in teams, students create a persuasive campaign to convince a group of potential colonists to move to their colonial region in North America. Each team member has a unique role and component to produce for the overall project ensuring each person is engaged. Through this project-based learning activity, students are able to compare and contrast the different colonial regions while engaging in debate over which region is best.
