These semantic language and social skills loops are the cure for the common card game!
If you work with older students who say everything is too young for them then look no further. This bundle contains my Language Loops: Semantic Set
and Social Skills Loops
* This is a zip file. Please make sure you have the software to open it before purchasing.*
This bundle contains:
→ 3 different semantic language loops with 40 words each: synonyms, antonyms, and multiple meaning words. That's a total of 120 words
→ A problem solving set and perspective taking set with 40 situations in each. That is a total of 80 situations and scenarios for you to discuss and work through with your students! Everything from taking selfies to working groups!
How to Play:
- Punch a hole on the left side of each strip and put them on a ring or clip to keep strips together. You can mix up the strips so point values ( tallies ) are scattered.
- Before you start, determine the number of points ( tallies ) the winner must reach. Have each student read the question. If they answer correctly they earn the number of points ( tallies ) shown on the strip. The first one to the amount of points ( tallies ) you set wins!
-Students can keep track of points on a whiteboard, separate sheet of paper, or on their desk/table with a dry erase marker.
Feel free to offer BONUS POINTS for answering question a student couldn't, giving an additional information, etc.
