This is a project that you can give to any student who isn't able to take a regular course-long final exam.
This alternative assessment allows students to choose themes of grammar, culture and vocabulary that are most interesting to them, and teach it back to you. Included in this project guideline is specific examples, outline, expectations and rubric.
Give students a more creative and fun mid year exam or final exam that can be presented, or for less points, e-mailed to you. Students who have extreme test-taking anxiety may have better success with this format.
Please remind students to provide a bibliography and properly cite all work.
