This pack includes tons of activities to introduce little ones to scientific inquiry! The following is included:
Sink or Float: Encourage students to hypothesize whether a particular item will sink or float. Conduct the experiment. Students record the results by gluing pictures on a fishbowl cut out.
Color Mixing 101: Includes ‘My Color Mixing Book of Experiments’. Have students color or bingo dot the pages in book to show colors, hypothesis, conclusion/results.
Magnificent Magnet Mystery: Includes a ‘Will it Stick?’ book. After conducting experiment, students can glue pictures or draw pictures of the results.
Magnify the Situation: Use magnifying glasses to explore characteristics of different items. Print, laminate, and cut apart small pictures. Use a magnifying glass to match to bigger pictures.
Additional Circle/Learning Time Items with a Science Theme including ‘I have Who has’ games to reinforce colors, shapes, and 10 frames. Use a magnifying glass to match numbers to 10 frames. A student recording sheet is also provided. Use a magnifying glass to identify shapes. A recording sheet is also provided for this activity. Print two copies and match or play memory, if desired.
