These Using My Senses Worksheets are perfect to use when learning about opposites, discovery words, senses, or observing a particular object. These are also great for introducing a new theme within any subject. They can be used either before or after students discover what the object is.
This packet includes:
1 Blank Worksheet
1 Worksheet with one block for each sense
5 Worksheets for individual senses
Two worksheets in this packet features all 5 senses in some way. Students will have the opportunity to describe on paper an object using each of their senses. At the bottom of the page, students can write or draw what item they were describing or exploring. One of these worksheets has multiple choice answers in varying fonts to help students distinguish between opposite characteristics. The other worksheet does not have options and instead requires the student to describe the item themselves.
The remaining 5 worksheets in this pack are each centered around one particular sense. Each worksheet asks students to describe an object by using a sense to determine various characteristics. At the end of the worksheet, students can write or draw the item which they were exploring. These worksheets are very student friendly! Even young students can follow along and circle appropriate answers on these worksheets.
These printables provide a great opportunity to help students become scientists and discover the world around them. The specific fonts and language used on these worksheets allow students to work independently to record their observations and fully explore their senses.
