Product Description
Over the years I’ve noticed that my middle school students love gross things. Therefore, I’ve created a lesson to have students practice writing using sensory details by using their imaginations to describe some very gross foods! I use this lesson as one of several lessons to prepare students to write narratives.

Using Gross food graphic organizers, students create menu descriptions, and have a gross out competition. I hope you have a strong stomach! It’s amazing what sensory details students can create when they are having fun! This lesson includes a lesson plan, 10 different gross food organizers, and 10 different menu templates. I hope your class enjoys them as much as my classes have over the years!
