The resources are designed to enrich or supplement your current curriculum.
This product provides supplemental resources that address concepts for Next Generation Science Standard MS-LS1-8 From Molecules to Organisms: Structures and Processes: Gather and synthesize information that sensory receptors respond to stimuli by sending messages to the brain for immediate behavior or storage as memories. It is a supplemental resource.
This product provides content information for students from which they are expected to synthesize information into a composition that answers the question, "How are memories created?" The standard requires that students be able to gather and synthesize information that addresses the topic.
Realizing that it is sometimes difficult to gather extensive researched information due to time limitations and/or computer access, most needed information is provided for students in a foldable that they can use. They may certainly use other resources as feasible.
There are several posters/content pages/charts/diagrams, along with short quizzes and answer keys that can be used for whole class discussion. Then those posters/charts,etc., are formatted to make a foldable that students can put in their interactive science notebooks and which they can use to write their composition.
