This packet contains 23 practice sheets for kindergarten that develop a command of the conventions of standard English using capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing. Each of the pages uses high-frequency kindergarten words along with simple CVC words.
The first task on each page is to trace the "mixed up sentence," this gives the student the opportunity to practice recognizing popular sight words and handwriting. The second task is to "fix it up." The student has to problem solve the order of words by looking for the capital, and end punctuation. In writing the correct form of the sentence the student is also able to work on spacing between words. The third task is to illustrate the meaning of the sentence that they just unscrambled with graphics. The forth task is to select a friend to check each others work.
