In the document are three parts of sentences beginning with a subject, what the subject is doing, and where he/she is doing it. What I've done is cut out all the section, glue and laminate them to different colored papers (beginning of sentences=blue, middle=orange, ending=purple). Then I sort the sections by color in face down piles. The students grab one of each color and see which silly sentence they come up with! This is great for writing practice and reading practice. This particular lesson was for a reading intervention group that was learning about sound blends.
