This packet includes guided and independent practice activities to diagram sentences containing direct objects and indirect objects. There is also a focus on identifying the verb phrases in interrogative sentences. Some of the sentences include compound subjects, compound verbs, and prepositional phrases. Students benefit from prompts and given diagram frames, eventually working independently to draw diagrams and parse sentences. I am posting this as a word document so that teachers can use the independent pages to create new sentences easily or insert students names or interest items.
