Easy to use sentence frame graphic organizer for language therapy!
If you have students needing additional visual support to help with improving language, this sentence frame graphic organizer will work well for your students!
You can work on various grammar skills such as adjectives, noun-verb agreement, verb tense, and building complex sentences with prepositional phrases and adverbs.
When you can reduce the cognitive load for building grammatically correct sentences with a graphic organizer, your students with language impairments will be able to participate more successfully with creating sentences.
Not only can you orally work on grammar skills with this graphic organizer, you can also use this to build confidence with writing.
How to use:
Pick a topic, photo (Google images), short youtube clip, or character from a story. The students brainstorm the different parts of speech in the photo, story, or video. Then, have students write or orally create grammatical sentences using the sentence frame graphic organizer. This can be a great language center activity! I just put the template in a plastic sheet protector and put it in a folder.
