Sentence, Letter, or Word? Students practice differentiating between letters, words and sentences with a fun twist! :)

How to Use

This pack was created to practice differentiating between words, letters and sentences. I have also included numbers just for fun!

Center 1 – Sort The Popcorn!
To use this center, print on card stock and laminate the popcorn pieces (you don’t need to cut the pieces to the edges, if they come out as squares it’s still ok). There are two options for sorting mats, you could use the title pieces and get the students sorting the popcorn around the pieces. Or, you could print each ‘popcorn box’ on a page and have the students place the popcorn on top and around the box. Three recording sheets are included for individual practice.

Center 2 – Making Words!
To use this center, print and laminate the letter popcorn pieces and instruct the students to make words with the letters. Recording sheets are included.

Center 3 – Making Sentences!
To use this center, print and laminate the popcorn words and have the students make complete sentences with the popcorn words. Recording sheets are included for this center
