What educators are saying

These are great for daily practice and getting in a lot of trials. My students are really motivated by these and love the silly sentences!
This is a great resource to drill at the sentence level. My ELLs are no longer overwhelmed to think of a complete sentence to practice their target word.

Description

Tips for Using This Sentence Level Articulation Activity:

✅Use this with students exhibiting 1-2 speech sound errors. If a child shows more than two sound errors or many phonological patterns, consider a different speech sound approach for more effective progress.

✅Begin using these articulation sentence worksheets with children at stage five of the Traditional therapy approach.

✅Follow the articulation hierarchy in the resource when choosing the positions of sounds.

✅Include time for students to judge their speech sounds to incorporate self-awareness in the session. Do this before you do the articulation challenge game.

✅Take data on your student's speech sounds in sentences at the beginning of the session. Use the SLP data collection sheets to discuss progress with your students.

Give clear and specific feedback. For example, you can say, “That was a perfect L.” or “Oops, our tongue wasn’t in the right position, so I didn’t hear an L sound.”

✅If your students are rushing or not producing a correct sound while doing the speech therapy challenge game, let them know they won’t get points for any words with sound errors.

SLPs like you said...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"I loved having this to increase the number of productions I was able to get from each child. The kids loved the competition.  After practicing in class, I sent them home for homework."- Linda

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"I love this!  It's very low prep which is always a perk...but I just love that I can hand my students one sheet and they can get so many productions.  It has a little something for everyone.  Some think the silly sentences are funny.  Other students love the challenges.  My crafty students have something to color.  It's a great item to send home too!"- Emma A.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I found this to be a timesaver for me.  I can simply print a sheet off and send it home with the student for extra practice. - Jennifer G.
