This is an awesome and active way to review the 4B chapter vocabulary and grammar, and it requires very little prep time. Simply print two sets of these words (each set on a different color), divide your class into two teams, and you're ready to go!
Pass out a set of words to each team, and make sure each student has about two or three words. Then, read one of the provided English sentences, and have each team race to form the Spanish version in front of the class with their papers.
I have shared these sentence race games with countless fellow teachers, and it's always a hit. I just played it a week ago with my classes, and they are already begging to play it again with our new chapter. I hope your kids love it as well!
This Word document has 40 pages of words from Realidades 4B (level 1), such as quiero, puedo, voy, a, jugar, al, voleibol, contigo, esta, noche, etc. It also has a page of detailed instructions and three pages of 32 English sentences to read and what the correct answers are.
The game is ready to play, but If you would like to show the sentences on a Smartboard as well as say them out loud, I have a great supplement for the game. Find it at: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Realidades-4B-Sentence-Race-Accompanying-Smartboard-Presentation
