Sentence Reading, Writing, and Building Printables!
My students love, love, love these worksheets! They are designed to progressively become more difficult. They begin with 10 three-word sentence printable worksheets. Next, there is a set of 10 four-word sentences. Then, a set of 10 five-word, 10 six-word, and 10 seven words sentences! That makes 50 Sentence Writing and Building printables in this set and NO PREP by you at all. But, that is not all. I have also included 5 different templates for you to write in your own sentences according to how many words and what topic you would like your students to read and write about. And, all the pages are numbered and are organized by a contents page so that you can easily find what you need!!
There are four parts to each worksheet. First, the students read the sentence. There is a picture provided next to each sentence to provide a reading cue. Second, the students print the sentence on the lines provided. Third, the students cut the words at the bottom and glue them in the correct order to build the sentence. This helps the student to attend to word order, the uppercase letter at the beginning of the sentence, and punctuation at the end! Fourth, the students illustrate the sentence to reinforce comprehension and meaning of what they just read and wrote! That is 50 days of progressive reading and writing activities with NO PREP!!! WOWSERS!!!
