Let your Beginning Readers experience a fun hands-on activity to learn the two things every sentence needs: a capital letter and a punctuation mark. Students will use the Traffic Light to practice
-- Capital Letters (represented by the green light)
-- Commas (represented by the yellow light)
-- Periods (represented by the red light)
This activity can either be used once (by cutting out and gluing the correct traffic light onto the correct areas of the sentence) or many times (by laminating for continual practice).
Two forms of sentence strips are included. Sentences strips with dotted squares to help beginning readers, and sentence strips without dotted squares for advanced students.
